The People Growers was formed out of a partnership between Richard Elliott and Bill Evans after many years working closely together on projects helping people and organisations throughout the world.

Principally it is their extensive experience of preparing, writing, sharing, and using training materials together that drove the creation of The People Growers to share these carefully crafted resources with a wider user base.

Bill and Richard have always believed that real business growth depends on stimulating the personal development of individuals at all levels in an organisation. We have both spent many years with diverse organisations worldwide proving, re-affirming and refining this principle – including a spectacularly successful experiment over a ten year period with The International Division of Beecham Group.

Both Bill and Richard have diagnostic and change management skills, delivering "health checks" to companies, departments or sections, recommending actions to help strengthen the business, whether through its structure, operational methods or people.

During the course of this work with many commercial, manufacturing / fmcg companies and local and national governments throughout the world, we have developed advanced training material, experiential in nature, deliverable by line managers who are not necessarily training professionals. The People Growers approach has always secured a high degree of knowledge retention and significant behavioural change.
